Bandits & Villagers for Pulp Alley's 'The Bounty Scenario'

I'm taking two tables to the next Pulp Alley UK Games Day, as well as the re-skinned the Hollow, the other is The Bounty, where the Leagues are searching for a group of bandits (Which are the Major Plot Point)

I've just used whatever desert terrain I have, to represent what I think that an Old West  Mexican village would look like.

For the Bandits I Got Some Figures from the Gringo 40's Mexican Revolution range. These are nice miniatures but some of the rifles look a bit small on some of the figures, so I swapped them for other guns or a rope.

For the four minor plot points I've used some 1st Corps Miniatures Villager Figures, these are The Woman, The Beggar & The Kid.
For The Stranger Plot point I decided it would be good to paint & use the Wargames Illustrated Giants in Miniature figure of  Alan Quatermain, as he looked suitably Western to me & he really needed painting.

1st Corps Mechanic

Finally found time to paint the Mechanic from 1st Corps that comes with the Fuel Pump set.

He’s a cracking little figure with plenty of Character.

I’ve based him on a metal base insert from Black Cat Miniatures on top of one of the newer lipped Warlord games plastic bases.

1stCorps Petrol Pumps

I ordered The 1stCorps Petrol Pumps & Attendant & have Painted up the the pumps &Motor oil cabinet

This is a fantastic little set which I will be using for Pulp & WW2 games.

I printed out some garage signs from the ‘tinterweb and painted the edges before glueing to to cabinet.

The base for the pumps is an oval of mdf with sand paper for the tarmac & cardboard for the kerb stones. I also cut off the ‘shell’ from the top of the squat electric (blue) pump & replaced it with a large round pin head to represent a glass globe.

I’ve photographed them with an mdf shed (can’t remember who makes it) & some oil drums that I picked up of eBay, I think 🤔

I don’t know what has happened with the last 2 posts getting swapped round 🥴

1stCorps War Wagon

I recently painted one of the fantastic War Wagons from 1stCorps for my saga Rus Princes Warband.
It has a resin main body & metal wheels etc.
There was a couple of miscasts on the resin armour planking side, so I tried to make it look like battle damage.
It doesn’t come with any crew & I had a couple of figures with open hands that a friend gave me (thanks Jim 😁) spare so I cut the swords down to resemble knives & put stones in their hand for the improvised weapons. I also added some chains to the ramp, a plastic helmet from the Fireforge Russian sprues, a spear & a hung pheasant from the old GW Bretonian Men at Arms sprues.
