Old West Gunfighter League Finished

 Well I got the Old West League finished, ready for the next Pulp Alley UK Games Day 

The bases are painted a sand colour, could maybe use some tufts, but I will have to see what I've got kicking about.

The Horses & Riders are magnatised, this will allow the horses to wander, as per the Pulp Alley Rules

The Duster is painted with a Vallejo Khaki Grey basecoat & I added Tan Yellow to this for highlights

Wild West Gang Leader

 The Leader for the Pulp Alley Western Gang is actually painted! 

I kept the paint job pretty simple & I think they match well enough. Just need to name him. 

I've named him: Dutch Addams

The Mounted version has also been magnatised to allow the horse to roam when the character has dismounted. Now onto the 2 Sidekicks

Chicken coop & Dog Kennel

 I've managed to get completely sidetracked & started faffing about with a Dog Kennel & Chicken Coop that I picked from fiasco, possibly 3 years ago! Haven't got a clue who makes them, but they are that new fangled 3d printing carry on.

I've based & started painting them & needed to get some Chickens for the inside of the Coop (the Kennel roof doesn't come off)

Getting some chickens was the easy part, they came from Pendraken Miniatures, I just couldn't decide how to do the straw for the nests. Then I had a brain wave & decided to use some electrical wire on a plasticard base.

I roughed up the plasticard to resemble wood chopped up loads of small bits of wire, cut the legs off some chickens & voila a nesting area.

Just need to finish painting them now! so that I can get them in my games of Pulp alley

Sci-Fi Storage Tanks

 I’ve just made a couple of storage tanks for the desert board.

These have been cobbled together from various bits that we had lying around.

These black one's main body is from a Bullet Bill sweet container, 

with the holes filled in & various bits of Plasticard & plastic rod glued on

The other one is from a weird dome bit that I found, part of an old light fitting, with the usual bits of plastic rod etc stuck on

Retro Sci-Fi League

 I’ve painted up a Pulp Sci-Fi league using the 2010 Salute giveaway figures.

 

The Robot on the right I painted a while ago but have rebased it on half of the scenic base that came with the set, I only added a bit to the front so that it took up the whole base.

The other Robot on the left has had its stance changed as best I could to make it more upright. 

I achieved this by cutting it in the middle, removing a sliver & bending it back. 

I also removed the right arm & re-positioned it. 

The base insert is a scratch built piece as well, made from press-moulded Miliput, plastic rod & card.

Finally the Leader, she is also on part of the original scenic base,

 with bits of plastic rod added to fill it out to the sides.

I will probably end up using these as a Leader & two side kicks.

 Just been trying to take some pictures of my Pulp Alley Leagues & some plot points, so I thought I might as well share them on here, as they’ve not been shown all together 

First is The Tunbotham Detectives, then the next league is The Order of the Silver Cross a Vatican investigation team

TERRAIN FOR CHRIMBO GAME

 I picked up some terrain for my Christmas game from Poundland (a UK company) these stared out at £1 each then down to 2 for a £1 &  now at 25p each!

I got some little Elf houses, a Tree, a Sleigh, a chair & bench (these are both a bit big though)

I’ve quickly repainted most of the bits except for the bench & added bases to some of them. 

The figures are a Workshop Elf from Killer B Games & The Pulp Santa from Artizan. 

I also picked up some icicle & candy cane tree decorations from Yorkshire Trading. 

I broke up the icicles and based them to make scatter pieces & stuck the candy canes upright to make “Realm Gates” & more scatter as well as picking up some trees
