1980’s Citadel Miniatures Doctor Who, Painted Companions Adric & Turlough

 Well the final two companions are completed, so that's all of the Citadel Doctors & Companions finished & the set is complete.

I hope you've enjoyed seeing them progress as much as I have painting them.

I think it will be Cybermen & UNIT next. 

Wish I could find a Captain Yates for the UNIT squad, I've never seen one available anywhere!

 Thats Two more of the Doctors Companions done, Leela & Romana. Leela isn't the best likeness & Romana I think definitely has the right sort of feel for her 😕

 Well I’ve got the 80s Citadel 4th & 5th Doctor's finished, so that's all of them completed.

There's four of the companions to complete, then some UNIT troops for the good guys.

1980’s Citadel Miniatures Doctor Who - Painted Plastic Daleks

 Finally got round to painting some of the plastic Daleks that I'd managed to pick up way back in 2024 & had built! The Aircav Saga: Reinforcements Have Arrived

Just did a quick dark grey paint job on them & painted the bases more like the ones that I'm doing for the Doctors & Companions.

I also tweaked the bases of the existing Daleks to blend in better. I did notice that the plastic ones are a bit taller than the metal ones

1980’s Citadel Miniatures Doctor Who, Painted versions of The First & Second Doctors

 I thought that I would paint some more of the old Citadel Doctor Who line, as I was on a bit of a roll & the 1st & 2nd Doctors were already cleaned up & undercoated. 

I’ve actually tried to paint them in screen accurate colours, but it seems a little vague on the clothing colours, anywhere from yellow to grey for the trousers of the 1st Doctor, so I sort of went in between, still not sure if I should’ve painted the 2nd Doctors shirt pale blue! Anyway here’s the figures

 Some Dalek reinforcements have arrived, along with some enemies 

Just need a cyber leader now 😁

80’s Citadel Lord of the Rings Easterling

 I’ve done some more 80’s Citadel goodness. 

This is one of those figures that I really wanted to paint. I had, had the foot figure before but that disappeared a while ago & along came Adam & asked me to paint it for him 😁

Judge Reed

A Chaos Warrior (at least I think it is, I can’t find him anywhere!) with a Metal Citadel embossed shield

A few Orcs (I seem to have missed the Varnish off the Orc Shield!)

The Brigadier & Sgt. Benton

& a Modern Statue that comes with the Cultists from 1st Corps

SAGA OBJECTIVE MARKERS

In the new Saga Book of Battles some of the scenarios require the use of upto 6 Objective markers.

These markers need to be on bases between 30 & 40 milimetres in size.

I have made 6 markers 3 on 40mm bases & 3 on 30mm bases.

 

The 40mm based markers are 2 standing stones, 

I don't know the manufacturer though as I had them given.

The third one is from Footsore Miniatures & of a Blood Eagle Sacrifice.

The other three are various chests, the first two old citadel & 

the third I can't remember as I must have had them at least 20 years.

Warriors with Dane Axe

Well I finally managed to get the unit of Warriors armed with Dane Axes Completed.

I can now use these as normal Warriors in Vikings, Heavy Weapon Armed Warriors for Jomsvikings or Norse-Gaels & finally Gall-Gaedhill (Sons of Death)

 

I've done weapon swaps on another 

Wargames Foundry Miniature & a Gripping Beast figure (now sold separately as a champion)

The last two new figures have not had any alterations, one is an old Citadel Viking (now sold by Wargames Foundry) & as for the other figure, I've  no idea who the manufacturer is. 
Turns out he is a Black Tree Designs Unarmoured Saxon. 

Space Marine Scout Sniper

Painted this40k Space Marine Scout Sniper as the wooden spoon prize in our clubs 40k Kill team tournament, so I thought I would share it with you. 

Warhammer Dwarf Adventurer

Her'es an old Citadel Dwarf Adventurer for Binman on LAF.

I really enjoyed painting this over the last few weeks, just doing a bit every now & then it made a nice change from Khaki!
